It's the middle of a stormy night
I can't sleep
I think about how you hurt me
Not physically but mentally
You teased and lied
You criticized
I acted like nothing was wrong
But I was hurting all along
No one knows why i chose you
Someone once said
I'd regret this in the end
I didn't listen
Because I thought our hearts
Would always glisten
But I was wrong
Because im lying here
Fighting back tears
All because of you
No one to turn to
On this stormy night
