Mommy please know I love you You make my life complete Mommy never leave me For your guidance I do seek
I need you so please remember When we dont seem to get along And when you feel taken over by anger Ill love you my whole life long
It may not always seem that I love you But mommy know I do Because Ill always be your baby Even when harsh emotions seem to brew
But please know when its time to let go For you cant hold on forever Although it may be tempting You have to if you love your daughter
So Mommy I really do need you But thats not to say I cant stand on my own All I ask is you let go when its time And leave me be to grow
To grow into the young woman That you truly want me to be A woman that can stand on her own two feet But first you must set me free
So Mommy please know I love you You make my life complete Mommy never leave me But give me space to breathe

Very good writing.
I know from experience it's hard to let go.
keep writing and luving your mom. I'm sure she'll be understanding as by this write one can see she raised a beautifull, caring young lady.
huggs,

Well, at least you have a good relationship with your mother. Yeah, they don't like to let go, its like prying them off with a crow bar! But its a wonderful poem! |
