Distance

Contributed by ladyfawn on Friday, 3rd January 2003 @ 12:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Most hurts and wounds time will repair
through ignorance not; that one cannot hear
it only knows its own way of things
and has no time for the heart it stings,

Wounds be cold and bleeding
if mortal help you be needing
alas what does it matter to
the one who inflicted it upon you?

Either way you turn to stone
or ashes underground unknown
safe your soul from brutal life
nought the one who caused the strife.

Dear friend Nessa! The poem is brief and beautiful, but I would like to see you cheerful in this new year. Time definitely will heal that wound. No stone and ashes will help. only a hope you should invite . come on! raise up your true spirit. with best wishes1..Venkat
