She used to be able to laugh
she used to be able to smile
her life used to make perfect sense, like every thing was worth while
now everything she does is gone to waste
now everyone she sees she cannot face
she's got a broken heart she'll need to mend
with memories of countless nights they've spent
all gone away... the memories fade...
the pain's so hard to take
what has he done to her
a young a foolish girl
all gone to waste...
the pain she cannot take
now all she does is cry
now all she sees is lies
a barrier that wont be broken
left all alone... and so outspoken
but does he see her broken pain
while she's standing out in the pouring rain
and she doesn't even care
she knows the pain he'll spare
she knows there's no such thing as love
she's been through it all before
there's no way to win
you can't even score
because it's gone part perfect
and right out the door!

i loved it! i know how it feels and i've even had my best friend leave me during a hard time. (if he ever wants forgiveness- it's going to be hard). i love how much emotion is packed into this poem and how the rhyming just came out. keep up the good work!
