Slow Death

Contributed by sprinter27 on Friday, 3rd June 2005 @ 09:32:51 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

As she lets go
Life begins to slow
As she slowly dies
Past years go by
There are only 15 years
She bursts into tears
What was the point of being here?
If she was just to bear
It for only 15 years?
Then she begins to fear
That she did the wrong thing
But then remembers the arguing and fighting
Then knows it was right
To give up her end of the fight
Then her one friend runs next to her
Yes, the one that didnt care
About her for awhile now
But that friend screams how?
She looks up at her friend through bloody eyes
And sees her friend cry
She smiles at her friend and grabs his hand
Dont worry my dear friend,
You left me first, now I get to leave
But please dont miss me
And dont feel bad
Although it was you who made me sad
But, really, just move on
I know you can
His tears are now falling onto her body
But why why didnt you call anybody?
I did. You just didnt hear me
Then I got sick of screaming
And getting no reply
It might hurt now, but really I have to die
Youll see this sometime
Youll see it from my side
Then youll understand
And then you wont be so sad
Please friend,
Realize that its my time to end
It may hurt now, I know
But all I could do was let go
He watches his friend fall weak
And he begins to scream
He cradles her body next to his
Wishing he couldve helped prevent this
He begins to curse himself
As tears pour down his face
