A shadow fell across the land
A calm across the sea
When suddenly an angels hand
Reached out to tug at me
A hand so white, a hand so sure
So gentle yet so strong
Belonging to the spirit pure
I'd waited for so long
It gently took a hold and held
my sleeve so very light
And took me to another world
It was a wondrous sight
The guardian waited there for me
To take away my grief
He worked so hard and patiently,
To strengthen my belief
To let me know our loves await
And we should have no fear
Not ever worry of our fate
That they are always near
Then all too soon my time was done
Was time for me to go
Time for me to come on home
And let you people know
