The one who I fell in love with...

Topic: LovePoetry

Oh Andre...Dear sweet Andre,
Oh how we made this relationship last;
lasting through all that they said we couldn't and how times seemed to spin by so fast.

Faster than your feelings so deep & so strong,
could tend to your emotions along this road so steep and so long.

You cradle your fear of losing me at a moments glance at the tip of your tounge.
So far you & I have come & how much you have grown, still you've far to come as yet you are still very young.

Parts of me you have yet to understand,
but that day of me which you discover will fill you with joy in the size of canyon so massively grand.

The parts of us which I treasure the most, are the moments in silence when we may feel eachothers' pain, hopes & fear,
without a word so much as uttered & our love floats through the air, ringing of promise so near.

The hopes & dreams I have for us are greater than anything I can express.
Although your fright of this newborn love being ripped from your grasp has your head all in a mess.

I assure you, your heart is seeing clear.
If only you'd let that guiding force lead you to that place where you'll feel no more fear!

For again I assure you, there is nothing to fear.
I only wish you'd rest your worried head upon my chest...
oh how I love you my dear.

Just close your weeping eyes, that have seen so much pain,
& be certain that there is only love & strength to gain.

Oh dear Andre, please hear my words as they're being spoken to you now. Leave all that worries you much, deep & far behind,
because the love I have for you, words could never express & that is special my love, so never let this thought slip far from your precious, so fragile young mind!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
