What am I supposed to say?
Can't empty my soul fast enough to catch you
Can't answer the question in your eye
If its not spoken loud enough for my heart to hear
Who am I supposed to be?
Studied so hard at all the wrong things
Not to mention that its just not me
If these are regrets they're too far down to feel
Can not say Gauranteed
Not while there's still so much time
Can no be what I need
While I'm still left behind
Need it so much for today
Can't say I'll feel it tomorrow
I'm haunted
Should I posses all I know?
I might scare some people unawares so badly
If they could just peek inside
All the secrets flooding swiftly start to mire
Why am I such the freak
Tempered reason so the logic won't stick
Stealing concerns from a hard backed book
In all my days I look for madness in my methods
