So here i am, this nothing man waiting next in line i sip on tea, not meant for me i'm stating i'm not fine
the doors are deep, to calm coffin sleep i say long prayers no more i step into, the ocean's blue then meet the river's door
my mistake is breathing lake what's a bullet to a stain? it's mushroom cloud clean thunder POW! or morphine to the brain
but i'll stay calm, for one more dawn then paint my canvas grey i'll capture birds with playful words and thanks for what you say...

I love the third stanza, and the ending was well worded too. Nice job.

The last stanza is my favorite. This is well-written. |
