Prayers don't fall from the lips,
quite like they used to.
Soul doesn't take as many trips,
quite like it used to.
Sin's not afraid of fire,
quite like it used to.
Voice doesn't sing the choir,
quite like it used to.
Ears don't heed the faith,
quite like they used to.
Thoughts don't express their praise,
quite like they used to.
I don't fold my hands and nod,
quite like I used to.
I don't believe I believe in God,
quite like I used to.

You know, our views change all throughout our life and there is no reason to feel quilt. It is only normal to question the universe and teachings in it. I have never been a religious person, yet not atheistic, and have finally settled on spiritual. I believe in a creator greater than man but not as in the book called the Bible. It is something you have to deal with on a personal level and decide what you choose to believe in that you can live with and that in the long run benefits your position in life and the brotherhood of man.
