I Fight No More!!!!!!

The traffic's backed for miles
on these quiet suburban roads
while the rubber necking strangers
are dying to see this victim's wounds
Cause i'm all alone
with my notebooks and poems
in this empty grave where I wrote
all of my secrets that became my life
with no intent to show anyone
Let me drown so I can breathe again
Im through choking and suffocating
on alter egos and alterior motives
which weigh me down and take control of
the way I am and the things that I need
The life I live and the dreams that I dream
distort and blur all in slow motion
they broke me down and now i'm broken
and its sadder than the saddest movie
I ever saw but with out the beauty
so I stopped watching, I stopped caring
I lost all interest and I stopped wearing
these plastic smiles Ill wash my hands clean
I'll forget that they forgot about me
and Ill live the life, the big city feeling
cause its better than suburban dreaming
Living off the friends that hate me
who talk crap about me
like I don't know who my real friends are
anymore no I dont know them anymore
and its sadder than the saddest movie
I ever saw but without the beauty
so I'll stop watching, I'll stop caring.
Spill the ink and spill my guts again
I've fallen asleep with my eyes open
and they'll lie to all their friends
about sights they never saw
shutting down and off the lights
And they'll preach to all the press
about what they don't know at all
cause after all of this it's all or nothing
still I wouldn't try to fight

Very good write, you laid your emotions out there for the reader ( me ) and was able to draw me into the drama of your life that you seem to be going through. great writing, keep up the good job,

such a heart-wrenching but so AMAZINg
your powerful words just reeled me in, i love this very much, you are brilliant
this line makes my heart cry

just very sad and emotional
and i agree with you when you are talking about your friends, many people only care about themselves but if u look, there a many honest & sincere people out there in this loveless world.

amazing...and i often feel the same way
this poem SCREAMS with emotion - anger, sadness, many many others
