I sit here and listen
As I look in your eyes
Is it true what your saying
You want me for you wife
I can hardly believe it
I'm only 16 years old
I feel in my heart
I cant let go
Something tells me
Im just too young
With so much more
To look to.
Should I accept it
Should I say no
Do you think Im ready?
I didnt think so
I sit her and whisper
As you look in my eyes
Im not ready yet
To be a bride

wow, you received a proposal at 16? lol far out, yes i agree, i think you are a tad too young, live for yourself & enjoy being young
but anyways back to the point, i liked ur poem, it was honest |
