I Wish I Could Make You Happy

Contributed by MDodgen on Tuesday, 7th June 2005 @ 12:52:58 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I wish
I could
make you
happy
I always
seem to fail
it makes
me feel
so worthless
should life
be this
pointless

am I
as horrible
as I
tend to
always feel
should I
be this
empty
should I
feel so
alone

sometimes
i wonder
if you
want me
if you
see me
do you
need me

am I
really alive

So many questions of the heart, a poem of uncertainty, i like this poem but not the sadness yet you face the reality of wanting to know, yet so sad that love seems to always be on trial. don't put your self down, one who is willing to give all in love is one who is most
worthy of love to begin with. *****
