Your jealousy took over your soul
Causing you to lose all your self-control
Yet all along I was innocent
Too scared of you so I wouldn't
Stand up for myself or tell anyone
Letting you tear me apart, so much damage was done
Leaving me cowering on the floor
Terrified what you'd do next, so enraged in your war
Cried all the tears I could cry
Felt all the fears in the sky
Yet I still forgave you everytime
You'd apologise, with a bottle of wine
You'd sweep me off my feet
Make me believe you loved me, with a beautiful treat
You'd stare in my eyes and hold me so tight
Till the next time you got jealous, then you'd start to fight
Screaming at me like some helpless animal
The rage in your eyes your words so cruel
I've done nothing wrong, but you make me feel guilty
You call me a whore, you make me feel filthy
I feel the pain sweeping through my head
Your fist leaving a print, you just leave me for dead
I know it's time for me to leave you
But I'm too scared of what you would do
But you've made me strong and I will make it though
Now I don't feel anything for you
I will leave, but will let people think you broke up with me
To protect your pride, so you won't keep abusing me
Now you're with someone to make me jealous
I know you don't like her, what you're doing is tactless
But now I'm rid of you I can finally breathe
I will find someone worthy of my beauty, I truely believe
I'm stronger, I'm happier, I'm healthier and free
And I never again will let anyone ever abuse me
