Last Tear

Contributed by Lone_er on Saturday, 4th January 2003 @ 06:20:00 AM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

Hiding loss
Suppressing memories of pain
Hidden tears
Exploding as rain

Years of hurt
Begetting more and more fear
Until the realization
There's a very last tear

One final tear
As it falls to the ground
Ends the hopelessness
New hope abounds

The rain now over
Storm clouds past
A new day beginning
The dawn comes at last

Future comes with promise
Yesterday deals with a memory
Today we lay new foundations
To change destiny

Russ

I've lost a love, and cried before and never thought that I could stop. Until one I thought to myself, I am just a fool. What is lost, is lost forever and to cry is but a foolish thing. I let her go, and it killed me and crying doesn't help at all. Though to think of it, I still love her.
