Im so confused Im not sure how much more of this I can stand You say you want to be with me You say we can make it work
But then it seems as though Im doing everything Youre making no effort You never call me, or at the least return my calls
I feel as though you are living two lives One here, the one with me And the one down there, where youre from But when youre down there I feel as though Im not part of it I feel as though you dont want me to be As though Im some type of secret or something
But there is something there Something that keeps me waiting around for you Something that keeps me hoping things will be okay You are the first guy Ive opened my heart to in awhile You are the first guy Ive trusted too
So do you want to ruin it all now? Do you really want to throw it all away? You say you care, and deep down I think you do But you have a funny way of showing it
Are you afraid like I am? Or is there something you arent telling me? Why are you running away? Why are you holding back?
All my friends say I should just drop you, I dont deserve this But part of me is still holding on Holding on to what I think is worth it
Youre the first person I run to with good news First person I run to with a problem First person I run to when I want to feel safe I want nothing more than to be in your arms For you to tell me that everything will be okay
But for the time being Im unsure Im afraid to let myself get in any further and get hurt I dont know what you want from me I dont know what you want out of all of this
So for now Ill just wait and see what happens Where will we go from here??
