The true poets I missed
Kind hearts and souls
But when I look at the drama
To my spirit it takes a toll
I came back for poetry
I witness petty attacks
This site is big enough for all
And that is a fact
We can have differences
And write how we feel
But they don't need be posted
Let's keep this place real
Put it down on paper
General ranting nothing wrong with that
But when it is at someone
Keep it under your hat
I don't want to take sides
When I see whats happening here
But I will take a hike
If my temper starts to sear
I write when I am angry
I write when I am blue
I write down how I feel
And yes its good for you
But to write to hurt another
And then post it on this site
Its interesting how you can think
This is even right
My suggestion is write it down
Read it and express
Then throw the darn thing away
And put the anger to rest

Shari you are right this is INTERESTING.....
What these individuals fail to realize is this:
That when they hurt or injure another's soul, it's not just that person but themselves also that must take the toll. I could never figure out all my life why people want to hurt people? But I've got it figured out pretty well now! A person that strikes out to hurt another is a person that has lost his soul! He hates everyone and everything around him....and he is incapable of loving another because he can't love himself first! I was persecuted all my life, and when you are hurt by another, don't take it personal. The person that is hating you is lashing out because he is really mad at himself........he knows he's not normal, he's lost his feelings lost his soul....so when someone deliberately hurts you just "pity" them and even say a little prayer.....they really aren't hating you, but themselves!
There's no room for that here on YPDC. Your poem spoke volumes in this regard Shari.......
They should be reported and not allowed to continue!
Great write Shari.....hang in there don't leave now we're starting to have lots of fun again!

Right on girl!!!! It is indeed Interesting....but in so many ways....disheartening....reasons abound but I too have needed to distance myself from this energy.....there is a big difference between constructive and destructive....one's intention should be with compasssion not a hellbent passion for destroying one another.....don't we do that to ourselves enough as it is??? .... WELL DONE MY FRIEND and WELCOME BACK.....may our consideration for eachother and others show the way.....write well girl friend!!!! |
