HOPING
Do you ever close your eyes
with a picture in your mind
When you open them again
it's like magic in what you find
There before your eyes
standing in all their glory
The dream you have had so often
in your never ending, love story
You reach out to touch
to make sure that it is real
HOPING with all your heart
that their warmth is what you will feel
It happens very often
but once again it's no
Nothing else was there
but open space to show
You will keep on HOPING
that one day this will change
And the day, they are really there
it will not be so strange
