The stillness of our breathing
the peace of our wordless conversation
the empty conviction
the silent revelation
let's runaway
you and me
let's escape
this tragedy
we'll pretend we're well for now
we'll escape
we'll leave somehow
i can't take much more
of the bloody sheets
and midnight runnings
i can't take much more
of the hollow promises
the weakened betrayal
when i said love i meant it
i felt it
i bled it for you
when i said forever it was not naive
not unharnessed
not regretful
read the stone
we've gone away
me and her we've sworn
our escape
you're too late to save this
to reconcile us
promises are shillouettes of pain
we've runaway
