My Master

Contributed by Jaycee on Wednesday, 8th June 2005 @ 03:33:26 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

b Wary* is silent
my inbox is clean
for my stupidity
I'd like a vaccine

The rent's up a hundred
it's financial disaster
I close the door too slow
and he's coming faster

Kara's nowhere to be found
pleasure propels his frame
my stability crashing
I can't play this game

My master is wicked
My master is cruel
My master likes to play
me for a fool

Too much time on my hands
his shadows haunt me
he rips the door off its hinges
and I tremble badly

I turned down a job
in favor of mirror and smoke
life's out of control
on my tears I do choke

He beats me to the ground
I'm powerless to resist
he exults in his victory
Please, stop I insist

He pounds my head in the
wall, shattering plaster
His name is Fear
and he is my master.

* potential employer that has gone silent
