My Apology-Elle. Yates
Its moments like these
that make my stomach turn.
Make me sick to know
That I brought those tears.
If I could, I'd erase everything.
And make us the happy little family
That we were
When I didn't understand.
When I was still innocent.
I know, I've made it worse.
I'm sorry that I can't be perfect.
I don't know what to do
Or what to feel.
From now on, I show no emotion.
I'm sorry that I'm not the same girl
That you knew...
With the bangs and that little hat.
What happened to me?
I've lost myself along the way..
Theres no way I'll ever find her again.
But I can't say that I miss her so much, either.
Entering a new day, what am I to do?
I can't let these feelings go.
My eyes, too, have drowned.
And now its my heart thats' sinking down.
