I've trodden no broken ground
I can't hit rock bottom so I can't bounce back
I've no highs or lows but you envy me
I've just time to fill and I'm empty

I want to feel
I want to breathe
I want everyone empty just like me
I want to taste
I want the fear
I want your smile to know I'm real

I pitty myself because I'm free
I lie to myself in the mirror every day
How can I fail when I just don't try?
Too much the man but for the tears I cry

I want the rush
I want the pain
I'm not defined by anything you say
I want to live
God help me die
A wasted life I can't abide

I'll tell you know I got it better than most
I get drunk and just a little lonely is all
Things aren't rosey but no thorns ain't bad
I loved her too much and its all I had

Machine, feed me
I want everyone empty just like me
I want the truth no more lies
Everything is gonna be just fine
Machine, drives me
I'm not defined by anything you say
You've gotta feel you have to know
What its like to be on low.
