He loves me, he loves me not

He loves me, he loves me not The petals fall like broken dreams Landing softly on this cold, hard ground Memories drift away on butterfly wings Fragile and beautiful, they float, always Just out of reach, just beyond reality These petals fall, these tears alongside He loves me, he loves me not Words that echo through the decades Repeated over and over, pure lies Broken beauty blooms, they litter this heart Souvenirs of a shattered soul Cracked and splintered by your fiction Fate dangles, poised to fly yet sure to fall Your twisted lover's words haunt As the stained white shards sink Into my temporary eternity He loves me He loves me not He loves me One last petal falls forever He loves me not

*claps* Very nice job here! Some excellent lines in this write...This one really caught my eye...; "Fate dangles, poised to fly yet sure to fall..." Great poem.
