Switch with me shining star
Let me see from your view
Watch the world spin round n' round
As we sit untouched by the night
Better yet, pull me up to the sky
Where I will dine with you
Watch me shoot across the clouds and spread my wings
Oh yes, stars have wings, this one does
Why stop at earth or even the milky way?
Limits are a frivilous mention
Where to from here?
Home is not where you think
I dread the thought, I know I must soon return
Though I'm here, home is miles away
I do not fear the absence of my shining star
I recognise this unique feeling
My Jesus, you are my shining star
And there's no place like home
