A True Friend

Many friends come and go But the ones that you are close with and know For years on end Are the ones that are true friends.
If when you need a hand POOF they are there Or when you need a shoulder They hold you and tell you they care You know they are a true friend.
A true friend is a treasure So don't measure Them in looks are other meaningless things Just remember what happiness they bring And think your lucky stars That you have a friend who loves you for who you are.

This was really nice. I sure hope I am one of those to my friends, even though I wish I had someone like that that lives close to me. I moved away from a friend like that and hardly see her, but she is still one of those people. Very nice poem. |
