We were our own gods
And constructed exactly
What it was we needed
What if..
There was no control
And what we were
Was exactly what we do
What if..
Our own constructs
Were forged with a plan
Calculated and weighted
To force our weakness
What if..
In this closed circuit
Of energy repeating
We kept rebuilding
Upon ourselves
What if..
We had to learn
We are not alone
Despite how we feel
What if..
We are all shared
In you and in me
Seperated by fault
What if..
We closed our souls
And nobody asked
What if..
