giggling, on tip-toe, we sneak into the encampment
basket-burdened, flower-full, fragrant from our bartering with the neighboring townsfolk
penicillin for petunias our shadows ride the tents, born from the smoldering sand surrounding, prying open gripped fingers, young and calloused soldiers in slumber in stealth we work, our reward not monetary, but humanitarian
and they will awaken with petals and blooms instead of barrels and bullets

I love what I have read of yours so far. The visual irony here works beautifully

Conceptually superb - had me riveted - this is the first time I have read any of your stuff - but if this is anything to go by I look forward to more with baited breath - excellent stuff indeed.
Regards
