Creeping in the darkness
Hiding round the corners
It haunts silently
Crying in the background
Snickering still in resound
It haunts fleetingly
Searching, trying, finding
Looking, dreaming, imagining
Caught in, stuck in, held in...
The past, it's just shadows
Lurking round the back doors
The past, it's just shadows
All behind, left behind
Trying not to look back at all
Coping quite well since that fall
I'm trying to live
Uncover those lids
Still it haunts
I'm dreaming a new life
Can't seem to find the drive
As it haunts
Casting the fears all away
Trying to act like I'm gay
Still thinking of the song
Can't stop it, just goes on and on
Freaked out at small litlle things
Trying to block out those screams
That keeps haunting
Till today
