~Letting Go~

Contributed by Wicked on Sunday, 5th January 2003 @ 07:40:00 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Pondering thoughts thru my head of what could have, should have been
A deep sigh and a long pause,, should i do whats right and let you go
These moments with you i cherish deep within my heart and soul
But are they like the wind,,,the rain,,,and only for moment will they be

I sit gazing into your eyes, eyes that could take away the pain
The pain inside that at the thought of walking away eats up my existance
The tears flowing from my eyes,, i softly whisper and take this chance
Just think of me love,,ill be there,,but never will it be the same

If a person could die and yet still live i am at this moment
For never have i experienced the love i do with you
Nor will i ever again feel it like this, for you were my heaven sent
Letting go,,knowing my love will live on only thru this that i choose
