God answers prayers
That I can prove
He granted my wish
My pain has been soothed
I didn't mind the wait
The long delay
It was more than worth it
Waiting for the day
He answers our prayers
When we have our guards down
Patience leads to bliss
As silence leads to sound
I somehow have been
Unable to make my poetry dark
For lately joy erupts inside of me
Overflowing in my heart
Somehow I don't miss the dark
But am thankful for the bliss
Because God answered my prayers
And some things in my past, I do not miss
