  Social

fate and our country

Contributed by wakegurl77 on Tuesday, 14th June 2005 @ 04:48:10 PM in AEST
Topic: political

Why do i worry
about such petty things
why does anyone
arent theses things
soposed to work out
isnt that what fate is for

but is there
such a thing as fate
do you believe
do i believe
i truely do not know
what i believe

in a world that is so
set on their veiws
"i'm a democrat liberal, and lenient"
"I'm a repulican conservitive and strict"
people are one or the other
there is no inbetween
but without an agreement
things will not be sloved

"i will not compromise or give up my veiws"
is said all around
yet will get us nowhere as a nation

where we once stood united we
now again stand devided

we are headed twards
another civil war
only this one is of our minds
and cannot be seperated by land

so how can anyone
worry about the petty things
that worry us day to day

we are all guilty of it
we all say we care
then we lose ourselves
in the tiny things of life

"lets solve this"
"lets fix that"
but absolutely nothing
is being done
to back this phrase up

i suppose the politions
are the only ones who
think of this day to day
but they are to stubbern to compromise
afraid to mess their reputation

so the common person
needs to join the debate
because this country serves
every one inside its borders
and everyone has a say

our common lives are
not so seperated as we seem to think
politics are intertwined with our decisions
should you make fun of that
so obviously gay guy
is it right or wrong
pro-war, anti-war bumper stickers
you see them every day
do you mock what you see
simply stay quiet
or nod your head as you pass

mock or nod and be true
to you citzenship
stay quiet and betray
your country

either way,
agree
dissagree
contribue to the debate
be heard
make a difference

~save our country~

Brilliant inthusiasm

I love debate especially when its about life.

Continue spreading meaningful words, people listen, people are waiting for the revolution of the minds.

we will win, just ask Jesus.

Peace will prevail.
