As the suns shining golden glow Reflex off the waters flow The warmth of day soon fads Nights cooling air begins to cascade Turning your blood to a tingling chill Your heart starts pumping like a running mill The stars begin to shine so bright Oh God has made a heavenly sight Calm settles as night seeps in And light fades to a golden dim All the hurry of the day ends We say good night to all our friends Soon noise quietly ebbs away Leaving natures musical soiree Let us thank the good Lord For he has given us another day To watch as it too slowly fades away

This is so great. I live in the country too and I love it so much. The universe is so much brighter when the city lights are not around. The sounds of nature are much more calming than the sounds of humans. I go to sleep with the sounds of mockingbirds, frogs, crickets and other animal sounds. I wake up to bird chirping and go grab a cup of coffee to go outside and sit quietly and watch the deer and other wildlife go to drink at the pond. I consider it paradise. Your imagery was good.
