Thinking back
As the days go by
Will I ever be the same
Maybe before I die
Sitting here

Would it be the same rite now
if my love hadn't said good-bye
Sitting there
Thinking back
As the days go by
Cutting and slashing
I will alwayz deny
Sitting here
Thinking back
As the days go by
Suicide is my only hope
This I say is no Lie
Sitting there
Thinking back
As the days go by
laying on the floor, i'm dead
My letter is by my side
Sitting here
Thinking back
As the days go by
In the the gates between heaven and hell
Was suicide a sin, i cry
Sitting there
Thinking back
As the days go by
God has sent me, up I go
Thank you for saving me Lord
Sitting here
Thinking back
As the days go by
Save yourself before you try
To say good-bye and die.

I don't really comment much on this site, but wow, I happened to come across your poem and was thoroughly impressed. Very touching... I like the repetition, I think it added a more... hm, thought-provoking element to the poem. Good job, and keep up the good work.
Also. The real content of the poem, what the words are just screaming out.... man, I can definitely relate to all of that. Please, try to hang in there... it's what I'm doing, at least. |

Some will cry Lord,Lord and not be saved
To follow Christ one must pick up his cross and follow Him
To be Christian is to be called to suffer
Life is His prcious gift
Judas---better a mill-stone be tied around your neck than to kill yourself
Unless one is terribly depressed I don't think suicide is accepeable
Would anyone care ? a few for a ahort while
The poem was good
