Thoughts pass
Our mind
Like the wind
Some times gently
Like the breeze and
At times sleeting
like the Cold winter
Soothingly Caressing
or frigidly Stinging
When it is gentle
And soothing
We are elated
But when it stings
We are annoyed
Some thoughts
Stay and do have
An effect on us
Good or bad
Being human
And sensitive
We like it
When it is soothing
And hate it
When annoying
We do forget
That both are
Part of our being
Both are needed
So we enjoy
The good and
Detest the bad
If there be no winter
And bitter cold
We would not look
Forward to the spring
The warmth and vigor
