Trying to get past the pain
and clear my face of this warm rain
i turn to another girl
and to her my emotions hurl
her embrace warms me on a winter night
and her kiss throws away any fright
she is so loving and so pure
like some special break from cupids lure
when im with her i mean something
and no longer alone do i sing
i want to be with who she is
and my feelings aren't just a temporary fiz
but from no where me she does reject
and im left stuned whispering what the heck
though i don't know if she will return
my heart will now have another burn
