A Rose Forever

Contributed by Doriens_Picture on Thursday, 16th June 2005 @ 02:19:28 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I want to give you the world

In the petals of a rose

Dipped in warm candle wax

So it would never fade

Never lose its smell or color

Never be any less beautiful

I want to give you something

To represent our love

A union that is eternal

With overcastting ends

It will never come undone

The diamond I gave you to wear

Only shines and is beautiful

When it is worn by you

On a cross, a sign of the faith

You have returned to me

One that just like you

I can not be with out

You are everything to me

You have given back my life

Saved me from the darkness

You are my release

My way out

This is a poem I wrote for some one I hope I can call a friend

To Ben

Our words are at times
Like black stars in a sky of white
They will always shine
Yours can out shine mine
I would not care
For I too look at them
And in them I find
An amazing person who has
Not yet seen the world he wants
But has the life I do
Your words are full of a gentle
Kindness of its own kind
Mine are similar for
I too am in love with an Angel
Mine has the name of a bird
She only sings for me
You left so many of us
Those who look up to you
With out even saying goodbye
You too your words away
And we will miss the way
You chose your words and rhymes
And your poems that
Can be read thousands of times
With out ever tiring of them
Well my friend
I hope you are well
And that your inspiration finds no end

love is more than gold and diamonds, pretty as they may be, wax flakes off little by little, but the shine in your smile and the sparkle in your eyeys will never go away.
Your stars will never fade. muaw.
