RAINING (or: why i dont like rain)

Contributed by apostrophic on Thursday, 16th June 2005 @ 01:16:16 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

OKok so i woke up this mornin and it was raining
& my head was aching and my legs they were paining
so i said to my mummy "i dont want to go to school
i wanna be like all the cool kids! o, they are so cool!"
she said in return, "don't be silly, please just go!"
so i left while the rain still splatter'd the window
and i got to school and everyone there was sad
because did i mention it was raining? and it was bad
so i thought okay, i'll pretend that i am ill
so i chopped off my leg with a pneumatic drill
(which is harder, you know, than you might think!
but i collected the blood carefully in the kitchen sink:
it is always important to stick to good hygiene
otherwise, you know, you might rupture your spleen!)
so, the nurse caught me and said "don't pretend!"
so i had to stay out in the rain without a friend
or a leg.
so this is the reason why i do not like rain
because i associate with it VERY GREAT PAIN
and now i only have one leg!
i tried to buy a wooden one instead
but people kept using it to whack my head
so this is what i say to you: when it's raining, stay in bed!
o, i do not just implore you, but i beg!
UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE LIKE ME WITH ONE LEG.
