I couldn't find a card,
Not one would do,
They didn't say,
How I feel about you....
Through the years,
You guided me,
The best you knew how,
Didn't understand,
But I think I do now...
I sometimes took for granted,
Things you did for me at home,
I didn't really realize,
Until I was on my own...
I miss the time we spent together,
Sometimes it was just me and you,
Never will I forget,
I wanted to marry you....
I miss those hugs and kisses,
Those lap sittings to,
But most of all daddy,
I miss you....
Now I see the benefits,
Of the guidance that I had,
I'd Like to take this chance
To say
"I'm glad your my dad"
