Tears

Contributed by xXx_lil_pyro_xXx on Thursday, 16th June 2005 @ 10:47:50 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Tears are a far off dream, a land that exists only in childhood memories. In a world where weakness is ok, too bad that world doesnt exist.
Tears are blocked off, unable to find a way out to help me let go. So I hold it inside until it spills over, and there is nothing left of the sanity thats been keeping it in.
Tears are a river of pain, bleeding so that I dont have to, flowing free only once in a light night. Never ending never beginning,
Tears are draining, emotionally, physically, and mentally. Making me sick whenever I cry, on the inside and out.
Tears are the only thing that I wont let myself feel, the thing that I long for, and the thing that I hate. Keeping me alive in my black world of solitude.
Tears are nothing but water trickling from your eyes but they make you feel so refreshed as if they fell to cleanse you.
Tears are frightening, making me too scared to show them. Because when I let them fall the world falls with them.
Tears are a far off dream, a land that exists only in childhood memories. In a world where weakness is ok, too bad that world doesnt exist.

You already know what I've said about this one :) I love it. The line:
"Tears are the only thing that I won’t let myself feel, the thing that I long for, and the thing that I hate. Keeping me alive in my black world of solitude."
Is my favorite
