Stuck in the mud of memories past.
Holding on to the vines of dreams Ill never see.
The chameleon strives in parts like these.
My only defense to what i see.
To mold to a happy place, To show a happy face.
For what Iam I cannot show, For who Iam i do not know.
So many years of blending in, has got my heart wearing thin.
if only I could tell you the things i've seen.
With out getting stares that are cold and mean.
You ask for my past, then turn away hoping to hear the things i cannot say.
My past full of hurt, walking through dirt, Im sorry to say i've got stains on my shirt.
Forget MTV's true life, this is my real life.
If you dont like it, then leave me alone
You cant change it, So quit calling my phone.
The one who hears my truth and doesn't run.
The past is gone, lets have some fun
But for you fakers, I call heartbreakers.
Dont ask for love ,cuz my heart wont budge.
It goes to the one who didn't judge.
