The Greatest Thing I Ever Did

The greatest thing I ever did
Was to become a dad
The best and most rewarding
Time I ever had
To see yourself in him
To hold him as he falls asleep at night
Nothing in the world
Could ever feel so right
To wake to hugs and kisses
To hear the sweet words of I love you
Gives me the strength to climb any mountain
There is nothing I cant do
He keeps me young as my birthdays
Continue to slid down a hill
He gives me energy and endurance
And legs made of steel
To my heart he gives fresh blood
I can feel it in my veins
My patiences and temperament
He continues to tame
Hes everything to me
The air that I breathe
Yes hes my greatest accomplishment
This I truly believe
