And That Spells Evil

Topic: StoryPoetry

Emily was born in darkness
She carved a name in the gravestone of ever human
being to die on the day of her birth.
She sentenced human nature to it's untimely demise the day she took
her first step...
And three thousand stars burned out in the galaxy the moment
her first word left her lips.

Corrupted she was...

Her eyes were black spheres of eternal blackness and sent
many a man to a plane of demented thought...
Her touch caused illness in the most fragile and sturdy of beings...
her smile sent shivers down the bravest of men...

Touched by something she was...

Her loved ones perished in her shadow...
There was no mother or father or older sibling to answer
her lonely cries in the night...
There was no loved one to wipe away her tears...
Her tears that sent tsunamis, hurricanes, and vicious storms
raging all around the globe as they devoured all of mankind.

Cursed she was.

On the day of her birth five thousand men died, six thousand women died, three thousand children died...as they would every day of her life.
She carried disease wherever she trod...
And one mere look from her caused horror, one mere breath, famine, one word spoken....insanity...one touch
Death...

That was...
At least...
Until one "Hero" took her life...

Always in agony she was...

She was a monster they said...

She was evil they said...

But...at least once...she was also a little girl...with a name...and a mother...and a dream....

Who never had a say in what she became...

Emily...
And that spells evil?
