You tell me you are fine
But I know its a sad time
But you dont act sad
Not even mad
You try to lie to me
But Im friend; not enemy
Dont even try
To tell me lies
I can see through them
You know Im not dead
You try to act tough
But I know this is rough
You even smiled at me
When I kept questioning
You; not trusting that
You arent too sad
So you lie to me
Youre pretending
That you are fine
But I know you are lying
Just pretending it all
You know you can call
Me and talk with me
Like I said, Im not enemy,
Im friend
Until the end
Yet, Im the one
That youve chosen
To lie to and try to hide
Your feelings, but Im at your side
Just waiting for you to talk
Offering that dumb walk
That you always offered me
When it was you waiting
For me to talk to you
But we knew
Id never talk about what Im hiding
I dont know if its me youre punishing
With your ****

I like this poem. I really can relate to it, hits close to home, although from the opposite angle. Keep your head up, I hope things get better for you.
