have you ever just sat
in the silence
in the dark
just to listen
silence can be so peaceful
and yet so threatening
all at once
a dark angel
silence in the day
or silence at night
it makes no difference
silence is still silence
when im happy
silence is a gift
a chance to listen
to you're life as it is
peaceful and silent
when im angry
its like a knife
just waiting
for the right moment
to cut you open
and let all the feelings
run wild
when im sad
silence
is my biggest fear
it haunts me
watching
silence
is everywhere
silence is a ghost
never seen
but sometimes heard
if you listen
hard enough
it is so much more
than what some think
they all take it for granted
because they have never just sat
and listened to the silence
silence is my best friend
and my worst enemy
a dark angel
no matter when
no matter where
silence is silence
