Her happiness to her,an illusion a mirage out of her grasp she takes a deep breath caressing the salty wind with her gnarled hands the breeze carries her curls of golden beauty over her sad expression cascading over like a curtain concealing that secret place she has so desperately tried to hide all her life timid and shaking she bites her bottom lip torn and bleeding worn from worry looking up staring out at sea calm waters glittering iridescent the water, reflecting moonlight as reflected memories playback in her mind (she sighs) her love,to her a finite existance her love,to him unreachable so distant her heart unexplored uncharted territory ethereal interpretation although tonight a place of pain trapped within her lifeless body losing hope tears fall like rain sent into a state of confusion attempting to find inner peace although an endless search for confusion knows no boundries a victim of circular thinking a stage she tries to comprehend to no avail no answers only further questions she lives her life the way others dream although unheard and going by unseen sacred soul the truth yet unknown she wants to hear what she so badly craves a sign of significance like a statue a masterpiece she sits alone waiting to be told
I Love You
while he stands in the distance silently watching with whispers of
" I Love Her "

Nice poem. It is always hard not to know what the other person is thinking before mutual love is out in the open. I must say though, I would also be sorry for those that had to break out their dictionary to read this. |

Another powerfully written poem. Empty words may be the pen name but nothing could be further from the truth. You writewhat many of us feel but only comes out as babble.
Thank you for sharing your eloquence with us all.

This poem shows how some of us feel when it comes to relationships. We believe that it will never work, but if we tried it could be the best thing we ever did. Nice write.
