Is it already over
And I just won't let go?
He can't leave me now
Not before he knows -
I need him completely
To stay with me
Forever together
Is what I want us to be.
You can't say "I love you"
Then turn your back
If it's really love
It doesn't work like that.
Hold me closer
I'm not ready to leave
I need you longer
I wish you'd just believe.
I won't say it's over
I'm not giving up
I'll love him forever
No matter what he does.
I made it through a day
I made it through three
Without his face
Or a word spoken to me.
Just one more moment
Of you in my arms,
Safe from the world
Engulfed in my charm.
Though this is ending
With heartache, it seems
I know I'd go back in time
To relive this dream.
