Cold Bath

Contributed by Boobiepeach on Monday, 20th June 2005 @ 03:50:37 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Bathe in the water used
Think of who you are
Reality smites but drifts away again

Feel the water wet with comments
Bad simulation of human emotion
Tear then laugh then shrug

The dust of life unused floats around you
Smell the dead skin in the liquid cold
Your lies are murky here

Wash regret
Your hair has been soaked with sin
Saddened by the temperature of growth

Wanting to splash all water out
But still and motionless sits an off course pathetic
Old soapy film covers hurting toes
While the rudeness seeps into the skin

Drops of certainty fall
From finger tips
Look for pity
As you lie in pulpy fiction

Moisten the face of true record
Hands have aged and ached
Surrounded in own fluid of self hate
Bath of no substance

It was vivid and sustained, yes. However do you write slipknot's lyrics by any chance?
