That's the way it has to be
Don't give it to me, 'cause I don't want to hear
Your long, drawn-out apology...
We both know it's over, and
I will not look back
To a time that I thought I would not recover
From the love that you lacked
For me...and now that she has given you the boot
Like a snake you come back, crawling
But, here is the cold hard truth
I almost lost my sanity and went bawling
For days on end, while you ere out
Playing, in your new playpen...
Do you think I want her sloppy seconds
After she figured out you were not 'all that'
Funny I don't remember trying to beckon
For you or any other guy, and that's a fact
I have moved on with my life
No way would I have you back
Or ever be your wife again...
I know that I am stronger
Than I ever was before, and
I may not be getting younger
But there are a lot of men for me to adore...
So...either go back to her
Or find somebody new
All I need is for you to get out of my face
I don't want to look at you
