only a small whisper

Only so quickly slowly fading away
Clearly it unclearly flew in the darkness away
Ripping it apart quickly to get to the blood
Torn apart she was crying like it was a flood

Screaming inside, crying in fear
So quietly painful, but she shed not a tear
The blue flame killing her, starting inside
Only saving the madness she had to hide

So tired she didnt pray to be saved once more
She had been tortured in life, nothing for
Screams fade in her ear only to forget
Pounding on her and a deathly threat

The blood flowed out wet and red
Only so she could pretend she was dead
A rape of her mind stripping her heart
Screaming inside as shes torn apart

Letting her soul fade behind once tender eyes
The color of green fades as she silently cries
Whispers softly come out hard to be heard
Only silent ears could not hear the absurd

I can live on dead, please take my heart away
I dont wish to be or ever feel this way
Only a small whisper could be heard as she died
Stabs so quick in her heart as she cried

Lying there spirits float through her door
Only coming to seek something no more
The whisper still lingered from mouth to air
To join them or not the spirits not care

Only as she wished her heart disappeared
The spirits stared neither happy nor feared
Only so dead faded red so deep
Slowly white hands slip over to creep

Only as true as something she didnt have
Not breathing a word that hasnt ever been had
So bright a spirit would only glimpse at her soul
Only shining in hunger to fill a heart not full

And starving she craves still to be none
The spirits drift silently and leave her as one
Her spirit fades clear no longer there
A mother runs in the spirits not care

Only a small tear fell as she heard her whisper
A mother cried bloody tears from the years shed miss her
Screaming in her own heart, ripping her flesh
She hugged her lifeless daughter blood plastered on fresh

Zooming out quickly it matters not to the spirits
For not another soul to be would hear it
I can only live on dead a heart to be shattered
And a life once here never truly had mattered

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
