A foggy and smoggy glass mirror
I write hello on it and water droplets
drip down from each downstroke of every letter
The water, scolding hot with steam to relax my mind
then it turns ice cold to wake me up
I feel rejuvenated and ready for anything
I walk out into the world
New and Clean
By the end of the day I feel as if I have been through a war.
I am Hot and Sticky
I am Worn out and feel Old
Im not sure I can survive til tomorrow
I walk back into my oasis to become new again
I let the water drown me and take away the pain
I sing out loud, happy for the moment
All my fears and yesterdays tears wash away
I stand in front of the mirror
Foggy and Smoggy
I write hello on it and water droplets

I see my reflection behind the fog
and wave
I say hello to the day.
